  • Aaron Horvat co-founded Foundry Rock with a deep belief that the trades can be built better — with stronger execution, smarter growth, and a higher standard of discipline. Aaron brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial drive, field experience, and real estate development knowledge to the company. He has spent years in the construction and development world, managing projects, sourcing deals, and helping scale businesses from the ground up. At MAG Builders, he managed as many as ten construction sites at once, helped build out the remodel division, and led both new construction and tenant improvement projects. He later helped grow Land and Watters Builders from two doors and $4 million in annual revenue to seven doors and an expected $15 million in revenue for 2026, while also leading the acquisition and negotiation of land deals in top Denver neighborhoods. Earlier in his career, Aaron founded and led acquisitions for Distinctive Investments, sourced and managed real estate opportunities across multiple strategies, and built a strong commercial foundation through high-performance sales and finance roles at Evergreen National Bank and ADP. At Foundry Rock, Aaron brings the field knowledge, entrepreneurial instinct, and operator mindset that help turn strategy into execution and opportunity into real growth.

  • Will Deines helped build Foundry Rock out of a belief that the blue-collar space deserves the same level of strategy, discipline, and long-term thinking that has transformed other industries. What began as an idea between Will and Christian—to apply proven business and technology strategies to fragmented trade businesses—quickly evolved into a much bigger vision: building a platform that acquires, strengthens, and scales elite MEP companies through better systems, stronger execution, and a modern operating approach. As that vision took shape, Will immediately thought of his longtime friend Aaron Horvat, whose entrepreneurial mindset and deep industry experience made him a natural fit to help bring it to life. Together, the partnership formed around a rare combination of strengths: Christian’s track record of building and scaling large businesses, Aaron’s lifelong experience in the trades, and Will’s background in enterprise business development, relationship building, market creation, and strategic growth. At RSM, Will helped build the Energy & Oil & Gas business applications practice from the ground up, generated a pipeline exceeding $40 million, and helped secure major wins with companies including Chevron, Phillips 66, and Fugro. Earlier in his career, he consistently exceeded targets in strategic sales roles at S&P Global and built growth through digital marketing and relationship development in emerging businesses. That mix of business development, partnership strategy, and disciplined growth is now being applied at Foundry Rock with one goal in mind: raising the standard in the trades and building businesses that customers trust, employees are proud of, and the market values.

  • Christian Hutter co-founded Foundry Rock out of a conviction that the construction and trade industries are ready for a more disciplined, scalable, and value-driven operating model. With more than two decades of experience in business transformation, technology consulting, and operational leadership, Christian has spent his career helping companies grow, modernize, and perform at a higher level. He played a key role in scaling a small startup into a business exceeding $250 million, and later served as Partner at RSM and National Microsoft Practice Leader, where he helped build one of the firm’s most successful practices and earned recognition within Microsoft’s Inner Circle, placing RSM among the top 1% of Microsoft partners worldwide. Earlier in his career, he also led strategy and product innovation at Junction Solutions, helping organizations in the food, beverage, and retail sectors adopt scalable solutions built for long-term success. At Foundry Rock, Christian brings the strategic mindset, operational discipline, and growth experience needed to build more than individual businesses — he is helping create a platform designed to scale elite trade companies, improve execution, and create meaningful long-term value.
